On March 3, 2023. Following Nana Ama McBrown's extended absence from UTV, there was speculation that she was quitting or being fired.

Just this morning, news circulated on social media that Gloria Akpene Nyarku-Acquah, better known as MzGee, had left 3Music TV.

's reason for his retirement is unknown, but it's been reported that he's signed a juicy new contract with UTV.

Mzgee is slated to be the new host of the UTV United Showbiz Show, which airs on the television network every Saturday.

United Showbiz The UTV show is now one of the most watched TV shows with over 10 strong sponsors.

For that reason, Mzgee will surely eat well in her new job, as Bulldog recently revealed she's paying them $500 a show and unlike the pundits

, she'll be making more money as a presenter — hinting at McBrown's retirement in one video he posted on the video app.

According to her, the versatile screen goddess has decided to step down from her hosting duties after some unspeakable things were done to her while she was the face of the late-night variety show.

In a clip seen by Tiktoker, she asked McBrown, who was being inundated with ambassador offers, to focus on his ads to protect his brand and dignity from further humiliation.

However, the high-profile Tiktok star didn't specifically state what broke the camel when McBrown quit his job, but has apparently hinted that McBrown may have dragged his employers — namely Fada Dickson and UTV executives — to court for it.

McBrown's employers are reportedly having trouble solving the case because they cannot afford a good lawyer.
