Kofi Koomson from University of Education winneba campus win Atlanta Black Theater Monologue Competition (Exclusive)

Young student Actor Kofi Koomson from University Of Education, Winneba. Africa-Ghana won this year’s Dr. Doris Derby Monologue challenge at the just-ended Atlanta Black Theatre Festival.
The Atlanta Black Theatre Festival (ABTF) is a gathering of the world’s preeminent theatre producers, writers, artists, and art lovers to present creative work for and about the Black experience.
As part of the celebration, they do organize an acting monologue competition for all undergraduate students. This platform serves as a learning tool for all student actors in the world and also provides opportunities for them to get support in their filming and acting careers.
Justice Arhin Koomson popularly known as Kofi Koomson an actor and a final year student in the department of Health Administration and Education was selected by the organizers to represent the school in this year’s acting monologue competition and he emerges as the winner.
In a conversation with him, he said “I feel so honored to be part of this journey and living the purpose God has enacted in His glory for me. I am so proud of my non-sleeping hours throughout my preparation for this journey and the support I received from the school, my department, and the entire SRC board”.
This is Kofi Koomson, the young black African child from Sefwi thriving harder to make an impact.
To everyone young child out there, the dream is still possible, wherever you are, who you are, what you are doesn’t matter.
What matters is how ready you are to learn to improve yourself towards the dream.
