Three people were killed after a school bus crashed, with the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) written on it, students veered off the path road in the Apirede Valley Eastern Region's Okere District
The accident occurred on Friday, September 9.
Another 28 people suffered life-threatening injuries. Some of them were taken to the Eastern Regional Hospital.
Some of the victims are currently being treated at the Yilo Krobo District Hospital.
Belinda Kaful Mawutor, the hospital administrator, confirmed the incident.
The students were on their way to Mountain Afadjato in the Volta Region for an educational tour when the unfortunate incident occurred at Apirede.
